Porsche announces on Twitter: the 911 GT2 RS is sold out

No, this is not a joke. Porsche has announced on its Twitter page (http://twitter.com/Porsche) that the 911 GT2 RS is sold out - less than two months after the model was introduced at the Moscow Auto Salon on August 25.

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is a special edition supercar that comes with a twin-turbocharged 3.6 liter six-cylinder boxer engine producing a total of 620 PS - 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 3.5 seconds.

The GT2 RS was limited to a series of just 500 units but with a rather big price tag of €237,578 in Germany and $245,000 (€193,000) in the U.S. market, it still sold out quite quickly.
