The 200 kW (268 hp) car has power generated by a lithium-ion battery to an electric-drive motor. The car gets to 60mph in under five seconds, and has a top speed of 120 mph. Range of the car is expected to be between 150 and 200 miles (240-322 km). Recharge can take place in any household plug.
RDP Performance showed their true drag racing colors when they unveiled their new Dodge Challenger at the Perfromance Racing Industry Show in Orlando last month.
The Ohio-based tuner has added a duo of superchargers along with a nitrous boosting system and a series of other modifications to the V8 engine for a total output of 1,000 HP. According to the company, the RDP Challenger SRT8 can hit the quarter mile in 9 seconds - which actually is a whole second faster than the Bugatti Veyron.
