This is the GranTurismo S accessorised with Maserati’s MC Sport Line, an option package designed to personalise your car with aerodynamic and mechanical extras. It’s been developed through the experience Maserati has acquired on the racing track. The “MC Sport Line” package will be available for the entire GranTurismo range and will be extended to the entire Maserati production line-up during the course of 2009. The car has made its premiere at the Bologna Motor Show in Italy.
Next to getting a matching look with the performance, the package is not only about looks. Next to the extensive use of carbon fibre for spoilers, side skirts and central panels, the upgraded car will get stiffer springs, shocks and anti-roll bars all around. By lowering the ride height with 10mm the roll center and center of gravity is lowered for further improved handling, and the new suspension is synchronized with Maserati’s unique Stability Program software.
Maserati has announced that the upgrades are available as part of the MC Sport Line package, or seperately, to tailor for personal tastes of the customer.
