According to CarDomain Blog, the Japanese tuner Zele is working on a Gran Turismo Infinit G37 Coupe Concept. In Japan the car is known as the Nissan Skyline Coupe, and is based on the car as seen in the most recent Gran Turismo video game.
Please note that the picture is not a photo from the tuner but a press shot from the Gran Turismo 5 game.
In this video you’ll see the Volkswagen Concept Coupe, presented on “Talento Design Volkswagen 2008″ in Brazil. It’s a design study created by Daniel Dozza Gerzon. The VW Concept Coupe is a car based on sportivity and elegance with the simplicity of Volkswagen. It will have a front engine and space for 4 passengers as a 2+2 seater.
Skoda has recently been facelifting its models and now the Octavia RS has been added to that list. The new Octavia RS+ was officially unveiled at the Essen Motor Show. The car’s sporty look has been intensified with a new front spoiler, rear black diffuser and black alloys, but its engines remain the same. The five-door hatch keeps its 200hp 2.0-litre turbo engine and 2.0 TDI of 170hp is kept too.
The piano black is carried through in the interior as well. Interior comes two-toned for the concept car; black and red. This is used on the bucket-seats, door panels and triple-coated leather steering wheel. Dashboard and door panels are further accentuated in a carbon-fiber look.
The new Skoda Octavia RS is expected to go on sale mid-2009.
At the Thailand Motor Show this week, Ford’s showing a concept truck based on the locally-produced Ford Ranger. Dubbed the Ranger Max, it’s a styling exercise designed to add some muscle looks and toughness to the compact pickup. It looks pretty neat, what with the embossed “RANGER” logos on the grille and tailgate; chunky wheel/tire package; flared fenders and integrated step rails. We’d love to see the US-market Ranger replaced with a model incorporating some main cues from this concept.
The Baywatch jokes started as soon as Volkswagen revealed the Pickup Concept at the 62nd IAA Commercial Vehicles Show this past September. Nevertheless, the Pickup Concept previews the full production model, which is currently in development. It’s believed to carry the name Robust or possibly Taro. Volkswagen will begin production of the 1 ton truck in the fall of 2009. Sales will start in the key markets: South America, South Africa, Australia and Europe.

The first S60 was a radical departure from previous Swedish bricks, and Volvo is looking to make another statement with its newest model along those same lines. Volvo’s shoulder-like design trademark will be slightly modernised with a “double wave” accent over each wheel instead of just a straight shot from front to rear. For the interior we see that the console gets a real crystal update, but we don’t think that will survive through to production. - Read the Press Release after the break -
Ferrari is known for living out on the styling edge and for staying too true to its own designs. Witness the wild Enzo supercar and compare that to the new California. we particularly like this concept called the Zobin by Iranian engineer Siamak Ruhi Dehkordi. The rear end looks cribbed from the one-off P4/5 produced by Pininfarina, but the front end places the Enzo’s F1-inspired nose amidst the contortions of a metal band that swoops around to create both the front spoiler and front fenders, while still maintaining an open-wheel F1 look. The headlights are suspended from the metal band and seem to float beside center fuselage. The design is both edgy and honors those Ferraris that have come before it.

The BMW CS sport sedan would have been a worthy rival to the Mercedes-Benz CLS, Porsche Panamera and Maserati Quattroporte sports sedans. But as a result of the economic downturn, last year’s CS Concept will not be produced. In the official statement, BMW said: “The sharper focus on profitability will result, amongst other things, in product decisions being revisited. As a result, the BMW Group will no longer produce a series version of the Concept CS since this vehicle does not meet the internal requirements for rates of return.”
The launch of other models with not be affected. This means production of the BMW Concept X1 SUV, BMW Concept 7 Series Active Hybrid, BMW X6 Active Hybrid and the MINI Crossover Concept will go ahead as planned.
