Here’s the first picture of the Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire, Bugatti’s anniversary model, unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
Called the Bleu Centenaire, this latest in a long line of special edition Veyrons commemorates the brand’s 100th anniversary. As such, it’s wearing a special shade of blue that you might remember seeing on the late, great EB 110, but is also the main color of Bugatti’s historical racing livery. Note, however, that the Bleu Cenenaire features both matte and glossy applications of the color on its body panels, which looks strange yet inexplicably cool to us.

It’s taken a while, but the mistery around the new 2009 BMW Z4 is all gone now. The first uncovered photo has been leaked onto the web. Looking at the picture, the car apparently was photographed in a BMW showroom somewhere before its official unveiling, on December 15th.
While the new alloys are very nice, the sharp lines and curvy hood are a bit too much for our liking and the new headlights don’t look all that great either. But we’ll wait for the official photos, they could very well change our minds completely…

Here are the first offiicial pictures of the Aston Martin Rapide, the new four-door super saloon. This computer-generated rendering from Aston reveals the final production form of its new Rapide saloon.
There have been a few minor tweaks here and there, but nothing major. At the front, the production car has lost the concept’s quad air intakes, instead making do with a double-decker grille.
Down the sides, there’s now a strong crease that runs from the front wing vent through both doors, while the fuel filler cap is now body-coloured rather than chrome.
The rear features a redesigned bumper and bootlid, with a chrome strip running between the rear lights to split up the mass of bodywork on the rump.
We’ve yet to see inside the Rapide, but from our image you can see the cabin is lifted from the DB9, will be bathed in light from the full-length glass sunroof, while the rear passengers will be kept entertained by televisions in the front headrests. - Watch the video for this entry after the break -

It’s official - a number of details on the new Porsche Panamera have finally been released, ending years of speculation and frantic spy activity. The Panamera is a four door coupe and fourth model line for Porsche, following 911, Boxster/ Cayman, and Cayenne. It has clear Porsche DNA in its design, with a typical 911 landscape upfront, wide striking wheel arches, a slanting roofline with a Grand Tourer silhouette and new strongly contoured air intakes instead of a conventional radiator grille.
Engines will be V shaped, with 6 and 8 cylinders ranging from 300bhp to 500bhp, driving either the rear wheels or all four. Naturally aspirated and aspirated (turbo) petrol engines will be used, while a hybrid model should add a different dimension to the range. PDK, the new 7-speed double-clutch gearbox, will feature as an option to those who prefer it over 6-speed manual.
The Panamera’s interior is made for sporting comfort, and like the press release reads “is oriented in every respect to the needs and wishes of the driver”. All four occupants in the 2+2 four door coupe enjoy supreme ergonomic comfort on both the front seats and the two contoured single seats at the rear. The luggage compartment easily takes up all the passengers’ luggage. Expect more info on the engines, and other details to follow during the coming months. - Press Release after the break -

In less than two weeks time after the vehicle’s official brochure was leaked a new set of photos that appear to have been shot with a camera phone made their way into the web. On the outside, the Japanese firm has managed to create a pretty uncreative design, you won’t find anything spectacular there. The interior however is another story as it has been completely revised featuring a more contemporary design.
Tech details are thin on the ground, but the Japanese-market brochure makes word of the RX350 and the RX450h meaning that the latter may get a more powerful V6-hybrid drivetrain than the current RX400h. - see more pictures after the break -
