Porsche tuner TopCar has released the first images of their tuning package for the 2012 Porsche 911 (991).
The model has a carbon/Kevlar body kit with an aggressive front-end, aerodynamic side skirts and a sporty rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. There’s also LED daytime driving lights and light alloy wheels.
For added performance, the company will partner with 9ff to develop a sport-tuned suspension and a larger displacement engine.
Even though the production model will debut in March 2012, TopCar is already accepting orders.
Designed in-house, the Jeep Grand Cherokee-based model has a prominent grille and remarkable LED headlights. Further back, the luxurious sport crossover has a sloping roofline which leads to a uniquely styled tailgate which will undoubtedly cause visceral reactions.
The company decided not to release specifications, but said the production model will be “100% Maserati” with a next-generation engine produced by Ferrari. It will be paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission which promises to deliver an engaging driving experience.
It’s official, the brand new Aston Martin V12 Zagato is expected to begin production in the summer of 2012.
After completion of the 2011 Nurburgring 24 Hour race, the two-seat supercar received huge interest from customers. This exclusive car was built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original DB4, Aston Martin Zagato.
Under its aluminum and carbon fibre skin lie the foundations of the outgoing V12 Vantage, sharing the chassis, core design and crucially, the same 6.0-litre V12 front-mounted engine.
The engine itself remains unmodified from the range-topping Vantage, producing the same 510bhp, and 570Nm torque.
The price for such exclusivity is a blinding £330,000 (£396,000 including VAT), three times the price of the mechanically similar V12 Vantage, at £135,000.
Above you can see a a video of the new Audi Quattro cruising on what looks like the Pacific Coast Highway in California (as it was spotted in that area just last week), and meeting up with the classic 1984 Audi Sport Quattro.
At the Paris motor show, two months ago, the Quattro concept was debuted by Audi and features a 2.5-litre five-cylinder TFSI engine with 402 bhp. The Quattro coupe moves from 0-100 km/h in an easy 3.9 seconds.
The Audi Quattro will likely make it to production by 2012 or so, but limited to a small number of units per year.
Here’s a video of Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo test driving the upcoming Lancia Stratos revival which features a Ferrari-sourced 4.3 liter V8 under the rear bonnet.
We await final details on the model but it is expected to be a top performing supercar with a power-to-weight ratio of 2.25 kg/hp or 364 hp per tonne and a dead-even weight distribution of 50:50.
The Stratos will be highly limited series with only around 25 units to be built.
Volvo has unveiled the 2011 V60 sports wagon at the Paris Motor Show.
Based on the S60, the estate features sporty styling and a luxurious interior with a five-inch infotainment display, urbane wood trim, and a boot which can hold 430 liters (15.2 cubic feet) of luggage.
There will be a variety of engines available. The 3.0-liter T6 petrol produces 300 bhp, allowing the AWD car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). Other alternatives include several GTDi (Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection) engines as well as two diesel engines.
Volvo has also already launching an R-design model. Next to the sport exterior and luxury interior, the R-model also has a sports chassis for a completely new driving experience.
Later on, a DRIVe model will be introduced with a 1.6-liter engine that produces 113 bhp.

Runimation Studios on behalf of Pagani Automobili has released this stunning new video for the Pagani Zonda Tricolore.
The Zonda Tricolore was created as a tribute to the Italian National Aerobatic Team known as Frecce Tricolori (meaning Tricolour Arrows in Italian).
While based on the Zonda Cinque, the Tricolore has some distinctive differences. The front end features special LED lights that look like the tail fin of an airplane. The Tricolore has a new air intake as well, in the shape of a small vertical fin on top of the engine cover. A clear blue lacquer coating and Frecce Tricori-mimicking strips running on the sides of the car complete the impressive body look.
Earlier this year, at the Geneva Auto Show, this Zonda Tricolore was unveiled with a price tag of €1.3 million.

A recent report has announced that Jaguar will use the Paris Motor Show to introduce a new concept which previews the 2012 XK.
At this time the details are limited, but the car is expected to adopt an evolution of Jaguar’s new design style from the XF and XJ). It will be larger than the current 2010 XK, which signals the intention to turn the 2012 model into a legitimate four-seater. What’s more, by making the car larger, they are creating room for the long-rumored XE coupe.
The concept is likely to be green, featuring a hybrid powertrain.
More information will be released later this month, so stay tuned…
