Audi fans will need to have some patience, because the Audi RS5 will only arrive in the showrooms in 2010. Until then Audi will keep testing the new supercar. Above you see a recent spy video of the Audi RS5 testing on the Nurburgring Ring.
At this early moment in time, Audi has not yet revealed specifications for the new model. However, we already know that the RS5 will be powered by the 4.2 litre V8 engine generating 450 bhp. This should allow for a 0-100 km/h acceleration of around 5 seconds and a (limited) top speed of 250 km/h.
A WorldCarFans has caught the first pictures of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E Class Coupe pretty much uncamouflaged. In particular the taped up AMG logo on the boot suggests that this is actually the AMG version we have in front of us. AMG models are generally characterised by quad exhausts, which is where we get slightly confused: this prototype has twin exhausts, as seen on the previously leaked photos of the E-class sedan.
The E-Class Coupe will debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show as well as the sedan variant, the cabrio. The AMG versions are planned to follow later in the year in Frankfurt.
Car Magazine reports on the next-generation VW due in 2012. Here are some interesting sections:
The next Passat will retain its current transverse engine layout but will sit on the much vaunted new ultra-flexible MQB architecture – and with far-reaching consequences. The Passat will never be allowed to pitch itself more upmarket than its DNA permits, which means no pseudo-executive W8 nonsense. The Passat family will grow to include Passat saloon and estate, the new Passat CC and will – eventually – spawn the replacement Touareg and Tiguan.

These spy shots suggest Audi is going to add a new model to the Allroad Quattro range. Currently only the A6 Avant is available as an Allroad version, but this prototype proves the German car maker is working on a model based on the A4 Avant.
Audi’s main competitors in this class are the Volvo XC70 and the Saab 9-3X. It’s primary German competitors, the BMW xDrive and Mercedes-Benz’s 4Matic, however, are not offering cars with similar exterior modifications. Just like the A6 Allroad, this A4 version will only be available as an Avant and the new version is expected to arrive in summer 2009.
After the recent facelifts of 911 models, Porsche has turned its attention to the high-performance GT3 RS version. It was caught testing in the French mountains, and it’s believed the new models will be available in the showrooms next year.
The supercar will keep the same 415 bhp powerhouse as the current model, which allows it to accelerate from 0-60mph in around four seconds.
AutoExpress says the new model will keep the special coloured wheels, decorative stripe, contrast-painted outside mirrors, rear wing endplates, and roll cage.
This heavily disguised BMW test car has triggered rumours that BMW is working on a production model of the CS concept car. The spy shots show a large sedan, like the 7-series, but with unique elements at the front-end and a generally more sportier impression.
The luxury four-seater was intended as a rival for the Maserati Quattroporte and upcoming Porsche Panamera. But last month, BMW announced that it would be focusing on smaller cars, with which the production CS, likely to be called the 8-Series, was out of the picture. However, the latest spy photos most likely show further development of the super-sedan.

These most recent spy shots indicate that Merc’s new supercar, the Gullwing, is getting ready to enter the showrooms. It’s fairly clear the car is almost production-ready, as this prototype already features the ‘gullwing’ doors.
The engine of the car is still unnamed, but rumour has it that there will be an AMG V8 or even V10 powerhouse.
The car was spotted in Northern Europe, revealing some new aspects on the car. Both the LED lights below the front lights - quite possibly an idea taken from Audi - and the cross-drilled braking discs are new. The car’s general styling is expected to be based on the classic 300SL Gullwing, a real Mercedes-Benz icon..
The car is planned to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, and will be available in the showroom shortly after.

Last month, the new Noble M600 was spot during performance tests in Arizona. Now the people of RacersWeb.com are in possession of fresh spy pictures of the car. This time a Porsche Carrera GT was also seen on the track, which is believed to be one of the M600’s benchmark cars.
The M600 is powered by a Volvo-sourced 600 hp twin turbo V8 engine. Arrival time is estimated towards early 2009.

Though it doesn’t look much like a Jaguar, underneath this heavy camouflage is the new Jaguar XJ luxury saloon! Unfortunately these exclusive spy shots reveal little of the car’s looks, but it promises to be radically different from the current saloon.
This expectation is further justified by Ian Callum, Jag’s design Director, who has revealed that due to lower-selling volumes than the XF , it can afford to be even bolder with the next XJ’s styling. It’s believed the Big Cat will move towards the Mercedes CLS by taking the shape of a four-door coupe but with trademark Jaguar design elements. The new model is expected to arrive in 2010.
These are the first spy shot of the new Porsche 911, that is the 998. It will replace the current model in 2011.
When comparing it with the current 997 model, there are few changes. You may notice that the headlights are positioned more upright and the side mirrors have been moved from the window to the side of the door. Looking at the camouflage, some work has been done on the front and rear bumpers.
