Porsche tuner TopCar has released the first images of their tuning package for the 2012 Porsche 911 (991).
The model has a carbon/Kevlar body kit with an aggressive front-end, aerodynamic side skirts and a sporty rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. There’s also LED daytime driving lights and light alloy wheels.
For added performance, the company will partner with 9ff to develop a sport-tuned suspension and a larger displacement engine.
Even though the production model will debut in March 2012, TopCar is already accepting orders.

9ff GT9-R crashed at Vmax Armageddon, Bruntingthorpe, UK
German magazine Autobild has reported on a string of crashes lately, the most recent one of a 9ff GT9-R which crashed at the VMax Armageddon 2010 Bruntingthorpe event on March 13 in the UK.
Luckily, no one was hurt in the crash when the highly modified 1135 bhp Porsche 911 race car went off the track during a high speed braking maneuver. The car was going by number 00/20 for the event.
9ff did not mention the crash in their latest newsletter which did mention, though, that the car had broken a record at the track, reaching a new top speed of 356 km/h (222 mph) and doing it already in its 5th gear - with the track being too short for a shift into 6th.
A GT3 RS also crashed on March 30 on an autobahn in Germany, tragically killing its 39-year old driver and his 40-year old wife. A Pagani C9 test mule also crashed on March 31.

The tuners at 9ff are known for some awesome Porsche modifications and this Cayenne Vantage GTR is no exception. It’s based on the Cayenne SUV and, of course, has nothing to do with the Aston Martin, which bears the same name. With a unseen 725 bhp this SUV becomes a serious tower of power, and the Vantage GTR leaves all other modified Cayennes far behind very easily.
Next to the amazing performance, 9ff has made some alterations to the bodywork and given the car a matte black finish. The pictures in the gallery show that the tuner also offers a revised front end with round 911 units headlamps instead of the stock model’s.
