Audi fans will need to have some patience, because the Audi RS5 will only arrive in the showrooms in 2010. Until then Audi will keep testing the new supercar. Above you see a recent spy video of the Audi RS5 testing on the Nurburgring Ring.
At this early moment in time, Audi has not yet revealed specifications for the new model. However, we already know that the RS5 will be powered by the 4.2 litre V8 engine generating 450 bhp. This should allow for a 0-100 km/h acceleration of around 5 seconds and a (limited) top speed of 250 km/h.
This is Audi’s new EU commercial for the new Audi Q5. Called “Unbox the Box”, the advertisement features an animated man who shapes a cardbox into the new SUV.
This is the Dutch version of the advertisement, calling the Q5 the most streamlined SUV, and fitting in environmentally friendly classes of B and C. In the Netherlands, cars are categorized on an A through G scale of cleanliness, with A having the least negative effects on the planet. Dutch purchasers get a tax rebate when purchasing an A or B car.
The new Audi Q5 has a choice between 3 engines: 2.0 liter TFSI petrol, a 2.0 liter TDI, or a 3.0 liter TDI. The petrol engine gets 211 bhp and has a 0-100 km/h time of 7.2 seconds. The diesel engines get 170 bhp and 240 bhp respectively. Their 0-100 accelerations are 9.5 seconds and 6.5 seconds.
