Bentley Continental GT and GTC Series 51
Bentley has unveiled the new Series 51 Continental package, for the GT and GTC, at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
This bespoke package allows buyers to choose a customizable three-tone interior. The model presented in Frankfurt has Imperial Blue primary and secondary hides, Linen seats, and Newmarket Tan accents. Other items include a matching truck mat, diamond quilted inserts, and a limited-edition Amboyna veneer.
On the exterior, Bentley equips the Series 51 Continental with 20″ 14-spoke ‘Diamond’ polished wheels and discrete ‘51′ badges on the front quarter panels. If that isn’t exclusive enough for you, the company also offers a special two-tone paint scheme to accompany the interior.

Is this Bentley's new hybrid engine?
More and more rumours are arising about the next Bentley Continental GT and Arnage featuring a hybrid option.
These amazing spy shots reveal the Crewe firm is testing a Continental prototype with a petrol-electric drivetrain. Look closely at our exclusive pictures, and you’ll see the rear of the car is filled with a new unit featuring battery-powered motors. Also, a retractable spoiler is visible at the top of the bootlid.
The powerplant is a version of the hybrid in the Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne SUVs. That mates a 3.6-litre petrol V6, giving 280bhp and 375Nm, to a 284Nm electric motor. In the Bentley, it would be more powerful – expect the electronics to boost a new V8 or larger unit to around 500bhp. As well as stronger pace, this would give better economy than the Continental’s thirsty W12.
Bentley is likely to install the drivetrain across the range, including in the new Arnage. It will help cut fuel consumption and CO2 output in advance of new EU targets, which seek to force makers to reduce average emissions by 2015.

Bentley has officially announced that it will bring a new Continental GT model to the market in 2010:
Bentley says that it is going to start releasing its future models six months earlier so its product cycle matches the market recovery in 2010. According to Bentley board member for sales and marketing Stuart McCullough, Bentley has done enough research with its customers to understand when they will get back in the market for a new car.
Sources say that the move is likely to bring the Bentley Continental GT Coupe to the market in 2010 instead of 2011. The coupe will be directly followed by the second-generation Flying Spur sedan and the Continental GTC convertible.

Nice review of one of the hottest convertibles on earth, the Bentley Continental GTC Speed.
The Bentley Continental GTC met that demand: it’s the benchmark luxury cruising machine and it does look the part, particularly with the roof down.
So, that’s alright then - let’s kick back and light up a cigar.
Well no, hold fast with that big, fat Cuban because there’s the ‘Speed’ range to consider. This time around Continental GTC Speed gets the upgrade completing a triumvirate of hotted-up Continentals designed to appeal to the younger market - the four-door and the coupe have already been ‘Speeded’ up to great effect.
It’ll set you back £153,400, which is about £17,000 more than the ’standard’ model.
There’s plenty of gubbins to justify the extra expense though: a lighter, more powerful engine, uprated chassis, dynamic stability control allowing for a bit of slippage, new fixed front and rear spoilers, 20″ alloys, wider twin exhaust pipes, a lower ride height, revised anti rollbar and damper settings and some extra detailing in the interior.

There will be nine examples of the Bentley Zagato GTZ manufactured exclusively for collectors. As of now, one of them is ready for an owner, and it is for sale on JamesList.com from a broker in Villorba, Italy for €1.3 million, or about $1.7 million USD. Purportedly the only one ready for delivery, this particular GTZ has just 10k (6.1 miles) on its odometer.
Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last March, the GTZ leaves the engineered perfection of the Bentley Continental GT as is, merely clothing it in a Zagato treatment consisting of two-tone coachwork, a twin-bubble roof that glides into a sculpted rear window, and more added creases you could shake a Picasso at.

On March 3rd, Bentley will reveal its fastest and most powerful production car ever at the 2009 International Geneva Motor Show.
This new model is very much the extreme Bentley, delivering the performance of a supercar.
Importantly, it pioneers FlexFuel technology, running seamlessly on biofuel, gasoline or a mix of the two, thereby underpinning Bentley’s environmental commitment to the use of renewable and sustainable fuel in the future.
In our image gallery you’ll find the first teaser photo. And remember to visit The Extreme Bentley site to see the video!

Even though the Bentley Continental GTC has only been out for two years Bentley considered it was time to perform a light facelift to the luxury four-seater convertible. And while at it Bentley has finally taken the drophead into their Speed garage for the 600 bhp W12 transformation.
With 600 horsepower - 100 horses more than the Azure T, it makes the Continental GTC the most powerful convertible Bentley has ever made. The Speed treatment alters the front end, with a more upright, dark-tinted matrix grille. The GTC Speed version also gets a lowered suspension by 10 mm at the front and 15 mm at the rear with revised spring and damper settings for improved handling, a ‘Dynamic’ mode for the ESP system and wider 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.
